Amanda Peterson's friends and family are reeling in the wake of her sudden death at age 43. Among those grieving her passing is her mom, Sylvia, who paid tribute to the late Can't Buy Me Love actress on Tuesday, July 7.
"I just think she was a precious person and it's a big loss," Sylvia told Us Weekly. "That's all I can say."
Sylvia also spoke with Entertainment Tonight about her daughter, recalling their last day together on July 1.

Stanton was taken into police custody in September after an alleged attack on her boyfriend, Bobby Jacobs, in a Las Vegas hotel room. According to documents obtained by Us Weekly at the time, Jacobs claimed he was asleep when the Bachelor alum, 28, entered the room intoxicated after attending a Magic Mike show with friends.
