Voices, hearts and hands! It’s been more than three decades since Frances “Baby” Houseman and Johnny Castle fell in love during a summer at Kellerman’s. Dirty Dancing, which followed Baby (Jennifer Grey) filling in for Penny (Cynthia Rhodes) as Johnny’s (Patrick Swayze) dance partner during a summer vacation with her parents, hit theaters in 1987. While the film has several iconic lines (“nobody puts Baby in a corner!”) and scenes, perhaps the most memorable is Johnny and Baby’s lift.

Dancing With the Stars fans were shocked on Monday, July 13, when ABC announced that neither hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews will be returning for season 29 of the reality competition show. “Tom Bergeron will forever be part of the Dancing With the Stars family. As we embark on a new creative direction, he departs the show with our sincerest thanks and gratitude for his trademark wit and charm that helped make this show a success,” producers said in a statement to Us Weekly at the time.

FBoy Island is getting a second life on The CW after Max canceled the series following the release of season 2. “With its innovative and modern twist on the reality dating genre, incredibly talented hostNikki Glaser and truly unforgettable title, FBoy Island on The CW is a perfect match,” Heather Olander, Head of Unscripted Content for The CW, said in a May 2023 statement. FBoy Island follows three women in paradise joined by 26 men, half of whom are self-proclaimed “Nice Guys” looking for love and half of whom are self-proclaimed “Fboys” seeking only a cash prize.
