Darren Shahlavi, a martial artist best known for playing Kano on the TV show Mortal Kombat: Legacy, has died, his agent confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter. He was 42 years old. According to THR, Shahlavi passed away at his home on Jan. 14. A cause of death has not been given, but TMZ reports that toxicology tests are under way. Born in England, Shahlavi found steady work in Hollywood in the 1990s and 2000s.
