Everyone has that one person in their life — be it their best friend, partner, a family member or even themselves — that just can’t keep track of certain objects. The Tile Starter Pack makes misplacing objects a thing of the past. Simply attach it to that one thing you’re always losing — be it a phone, a set of keys, or a kid’s favorite toy or book — and no need to ever worry about leaving it somewhere it shouldn’t be again. It’s even compatible with Amazon Alexa! All we have to do is ask Alexa to ask Tile to find the item we’re trying to source and it’ll let us know!
How does it work? It’s super easy! We just pair the Tile with the Tile app on our smartphones and we’re ready to go. If the Tile is within the Bluetooth range, it will sound until the item is found. If your phone is the item you can’t hunt down, you can double-press the Tile button and it’ll make your phone ring, even if it’s turned on to silent mode. If you choose to have the Tile app running in the background, it’ll always remember the last place and time you had the thing you can’t find.

A Tile is a great way to find items you’re always switching from purse to purse or are always taking in and out of pockets. Personally, we’re all about attaching the Tile to our favorite lipstick since we can never seem to find it after chucking it into a clutch for a night out! It’s also a great way to finally know once and for all if our sister or roommate was really the one borrowing our beloved hairbrush or mascara. Busted! You can also keep the slim version right in your wallet, because you never want to lose that!
Want to get super advanced? Attach the Tile to the collar of a pet! If your cat has a tendency of hiding in small, impossible-to-reach places (ours love to find the darkest corner of our closet and stay there for hours) it’ll be a huge help in finding them after you feel like you’ve searched every crevice of your house.
Tiles come with replaceable batteries (as opposed to older versions, which had to be totally replaced once the batteries died). They’re a great investment for both ourselves and for our families — but mainly, we can’t wait to give it as a gift to those extra-forgetful relatives and pals (you know who you are).
