Newlywed bliss! Solange Knowles and her new husband Alan Ferguson spent their honeymoon in Brazil, after tying the knot in New Orleans on Nov. 16.
“Thank you Trancoso for being the most magical lil place to ‘honey our moon’…Brazil could not have been kinder to us and our love…,” Beyonce’s younger sister captioned an Instagram post of gorgeous colorful houses in Trancoso, a town in Bahia, Brazil.
The snap was the first of many the star, 28, shared on her Instagram. In a series of other photos, Knowles shared artistic shots from their trip, showing off Brazil’s colorful surroundings. In one snap, Ferguson, 51, looks outside a barn-like window. His wife captioned the pic: “Always looking out…”

The couple said “I do” two weeks ago in New Orleans surrounded by family and friends including Beyonce, Jay Z, Tina Knowles, little Blue Ivy, and Solange’s 10-year-old son Julez. In a stunning low-cut white Stephane Rolland jumpsuit, the bride and groom rode white bicycles up to their wedding venue at Holy Trinity Church in the Bywater area of New Orleans.
Following their nuptials, Solange shared: “Yesterday, I had the best day of my life and ended it with an abundance of peace, love over flowing through me like never before. Words only understate the feelings I experienced, but I want to thank you for all of your beautiful sentiments. I'm now one, with the one.”
The singer was previously married to Julez’s father, Daniel Smith, from 2004 to 2007.
