Scooby-Doo, where are you? In theaters, that’s where! As confirmed by multiple outlets, everyone’s favorite crime-solving Great Dane and his group of ’70s friends are getting the big-screen treatment again—this time as an animated feature—with the film due on Sept. 21, 2018.

Tony Cervone—who has previously worked on the Scooby series, not to mention plenty of Looney Tunes projects—is set to direct, while Warner Bros. will be distributing the movie.

The lovable dog and his squad—including fellow supernatural detectives Fred, Daphne, Velma, and Shaggy—have been mainstays on the small screen since 1969, when the first Scooby-centered series debuted on TV.
