Nick Carter has found “the one.” The Backstreet Boy married Lauren Kitt in Santa Barbara on Saturday, April 12, in a romantic ceremony overlooking the ocean, Us Weekly can confirm.
According to an eyewitness, the couple exchanged vows beneath an altar of white roses and hydrangeas with purple accents. Guests, including fellow Backstreet Boys AJ McLean, Howie Dorough and Brian Littrell, took seats on mismatched wooden chairs, surrounded by vintage wood lanterns lining the aisles.
Kitt, a fitness expert and actress, looked lovely in a strapless gown with her hair pulled back into a chignon, while the groom stood tall in a black tuxedo. The bride carried a bouquet of fragrant, all white garden roses, peonies, and anemones, arranged by Petals LA.
McLean’s daughter, Ava, was the flower girl and an eyewitness tells Us, “She was cute as a button.”
Carter popped the question during a getaway in the Florida Keys back in February 2013. The pop star proposed to his love with a giant, 7-carat diamond after sailing to a nearby island for the romantic moment.
Equally sweet was Carter’s personal vows, which he read from a note card. A second insider tells Us that as the singer shared his heartfelt message with his new wife, “Lauren reached out and put her hand on his chest.” Even more emotional was the exchanging of rings. “Lauren held Nick’s hand and dried tears from her eyes,” the source recalls.

Another eyewitness tells Us, “At the end of the ceremony they shared the longest wedding kiss I’ve ever seen. A full minute later they were still kissing. They seem crazy in love and thrilled to be married. You could feel the love bursting out of them.”
