Laura Vandervoort has been bitten by the love bug! The 29-year-old actress, who currently stars on the SyFy series Bitten, is engaged to boyfriend Oliver Trevena, a source close to the couple confirms to Us Weekly.
Vandervoort showed off her dazzling diamond engagement ring at the Vanity Fair Young Hollywood party in L.A. on Tuesday, Feb. 25. The actress, who has also starred on Smallville and V, has been dating British actor and Young Hollywood host Trevena since mid-2013.
A friend of the couple tells Us that Trevena popped the question while on vacation in England on Dec. 31. “The couple was visiting a castle in England and it was a really romantic setting,” the pal shares. “Oliver told Laura to close her eyes at 11:11 a.m. (an important number and time for her), and when she opened her eyes he was down on one knee.”

Vandervoort gladly accepted Trevena’s romantic proposal. “She was totally surprised, and he gave her a vintage diamond ring,” the insider says. “She’s over the moon and so happy.”
Trevena’s bride-to-be is currently the cover star of the March issue of Maxim. In the issue, Vandervoort poses in sexy, sheer black lingerie, and opens up about her new role on Bitten. “I play Elena Michaels, the only female werewolf in existence,” she explains. “She’s the only female to survive the werewolf transformation, because it’s so excruciating.”
