For her 30th birthday, Katy Perry took a ride on the Marrakesh Express! The pop sensation visited Marrakesh, Morocco and Paris, France with a group of about 30 pals to celebrate her big milestone. The trip kicked off on Oct. 20, and lasted an entire week.
DJ and music producer Diplo, traveled with the group, and, once again, the romantically linked pair looked cozy.
An eyewitness tells Us Weekly, “When they got off the plane [in Paris], Diplo was carrying Katy’s pillow for her and they stopped to pose for pictures together on the tarmac. They had their arms around each other, and she was resting her head on his shoulder. They both seemed tired after the weekend in Morocco.”
The pair then changed for dinner at Le Jules Verne at the Eiffel Tower, where 70 of the “Birthday” singer’s friends and family joined them.

Prior to their Parisian outing, Perry, Diplo, and their pals traveled around Morocco, having dinner on the beach in Marrakesh one night.
“There were several fire dancers, knife and sword performers, and every night at dinner there were belly dancers,” a source tells Us, adding that after a daytime outing, the group returned for another dinner. “They came back the second night and had a dinner with lots of amazing belly dance routines and then turned the place into a dance party.”
The entire trip was planned by event coordinator Mindy Weiss. On Oct. 25 (Perry’s actual birthday), the singer tweeted, “Overwhelmed with love today…”
