I can has cheezeburger? On Friday, Sept. 18, the world (okay, so maybe mostly the Internet) celebrated National Cheeseburger Day — hopefully with some fries (curly or waffle preferred).
But for some celebrities, the day has more significance than you’d think. In fact, some stars are so devoted to their meat and buns that even the Hamburglar couldn’t pry these patties out of their paws.

1. Amy Adams
Here the two-time Oscar winner was just trying to enjoy his Fatburger at the 2015 Weinstein Company Golden Globes afterparty, when his Big Eyes costar Adams got some, well, big eyes. She lunged for the burger, which Waltz kindly handed over — partly out of self-defense.
2. Gene Simmons
That’s not a KISS! The rocker got intimate with his double cheeseburger the second he stepped out of LAX Airport in 2014. If he wasn’t so busy devouring the tasty treat, he’d probably sing a verse of “I Was Made for Lovin’ You.”
3. Nicole Richie
The Simple Nosh. While working at a Burger King on her hit reality series The Simple Life, Richie took a bite out of the company’s product…behind the counter.
4. Hilary Swank
After scoring her second Best Actress Oscar for her role in Million Dollar Baby in 2005, Swank, in her elegant backless dress, hit up Astro Burgers on Santa Monica Boulevard for some alone time. Just a girl, her Oscar, and a fresh patty.
5. Kelly Ripa
Really rip-ping into that! The talk show host chomped on her own tasty creation during a segment on Live With Regis and Kelly back in 2008.
6. Pamela Anderson
That’d better be a veggie! The noted animal rights activist was spotted chowing down on a burger while watching her son’s baseball game in Malibu, Calif. back in 2008.
7. Joe Jonas
Burning up, for you, burger! The former boy bander dug into his hearty meal at Real Food Daily in West Hollywood in 2010.
8. Rachael Ray
Is there any EVOO on there? The celeb chef happily sampled the only the finest at the Burger Bash in NYC in 2009.
