Glenn Close looked positively giddy as she reunited with her pals and costars from 1983 classic The Big Chill at the Toronto International Film Festival on Thursday, Sept. 5. The Damages star, 66, wore an asymmetrical black top under a black blazer, paired with a sharp pair of black slacks and bejeweled black heels.
Her former costars similarly kept to a rather subdued color palette on the red carpet at the 30th anniversary screening of their hit movie, about “love, sex, fun and friendship” for the baby boomers generation.
Also in attendance were Kevin Kline, who played Close’s husband in the film; Meg Tilly, who played the group’s deceased friend’s much-younger girlfriend; Mary Kay Place, who played a singleton looking for a sperm donor; JoBeth Williams, who played a dissatisfied wife; and Tom Berenger, who played a moustachioed candidate for Place’s character’s quest.
