Our first act calls himself a “Star on the rise!” Ten years after Damian took the stage at the North Shore High talent show on Mean Girls, actor Daniel Franzese has kept his character’s passion for music alive in a new parody music video. The 36-year-old, who came out as gay in a touching essay this April, spoofed British singer Sam Smith’s popular tune “Stay With Me” in a new clip titled “Please Go Home.”

Smith’s heartbreaking song tells the tale of a one-night stand he hoped would have turned into something more, but in “Please Go Home,” Franzese wants just the opposite.

“Oh won’t you please go home? I wanna be alone. I’ll call a cab, well, here’s my phone. Oh won’t you please go home?” he jokingly croons to the chorus of Smith’s song.

The video was created by #Ratchet Productions, the group also responsible for the Beyonce parodies “Dunkin Love” (based on “Drunk in Love”) and “In N Out Mission” (based on the sexy “Partition”).
