The singer, 29, wearing a light brown bandeau top and matching bikini bottoms, appeared to be in high spirits as she soaked in the sunshine. Chad Kroeger‘s wife sported shades and a floppy straw hat, while reapplying SPF to her fair skin during the beachside excursion.
Currently on the South American leg of her world tour, Lavigne is enjoying several days off in Mexico with her team. The pop-punk princess looked relaxed and happy on Sunday, as she hung out with her crew during the respite.
Lavigne even went for a refreshing dip in the ocean, and nearly suffered a wardrobe malfunction during her swim. The waves nearly took off Lavigne’s bikini bottoms, but her reflexes stopped the skimpy cloth from slipping off her body.

It was a much-needed break for the “Hello Kitty” crooner after she last performed in Santiago, Chile, on Friday, May 9. Up next, Lavigne will take her tour to the city of Monterrey, Mexico, on Tuesday, May 13. The singer will be able to enjoy a more-elongated vacation once her tour ends in the U.S. (with the Backstreet Boys!) on June 22 in Wantagh, New York.
